Indoor or outdoor?

Safety and enrichment.

4 min read

Many vets and animal welfare groups recommend keeping cats indoors, with plenty of enrichment, to protect them from traffic, predators and disease.

Happy indoors

  • Window perches for watching birds
  • Daily play sessions
  • Cat trees and shelves for climbing
  • A secure catio or harness walks for outdoor time
  • Cat grass to nibble

If your cat goes out

Make sure they're microchipped, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and on parasite prevention your vet recommends.
